About OneMark Creations
OneMark Creations is a cottage industry business devoted to the creation of tea related accessories (Tea Cozies, Tea Wallets, Tea Towels, etc.) and other products that celebrate tea and the creativity of those who love it as much as we do.
Our business name - OneMark Creations - was chosen to acknowledge the fact that we each travel this path but once and the importance of making that "one mark" we each get to make - a creative, positive one. This business allows us to take our personal passion for tea and our combined professional experience in manufacturing, quality and food industry logistics and apply that experience to a series of original products that we can share with others (individual tea lovers, tea rooms and other suppliers of tea related accessories).
Our designs come from our personal experiences with and love for all things tea. The design for the Tea Bag Wallets (for example) came from my many years of business travel - where I would frequently find myself unable to get a cup of my favorite tea. I spent years carrying my favorite tea bags with me in a plastic zip bag - and just a little embarrassed as I would pull that (useful but not pretty) bag out in a restaurant, a business meeting or some other public place.
An avid quilter for more than 30 years - I enjoy designing and creating appealing and useful items - it seemed to me that it would be much nicer to be able to pull out a pretty little wallet with my tea bags - instead of that plastic bag. The result is the original, copyrighted design for the Tea Bag Wallet - made up in a wide variety of fine quality 100% cotton tea theme fabrics.
As with the Tea Bag Wallet - we continue to design other original fabric tea accessories that we feel meet the needs of the tea lover who seeks out beautiful, functional, high quality products to use personally and to give as gifts. The original designs of OneMark Creations are handcrafted in a beautiful studio just steps from our home in Beaverton, Oregon.
